Greetings!  We had a great week last week and we really learned and practiced some great skills!!  On Monday, we played a game called, "The Socially Thinking Game" and checked our SchoolView account to prepare for the week ahead. On Tuesday, we discussed "Expected vs. Unexpected Behaviors" in school and how they differ from behaviors we might use at home.  On Wednesday, we discussed "Big Problems vs. Little Problems".  On Thursday, my second period dropped but my other periods worked on missing assignments and preparing for tests and quizzes. On Friday, we had check-out and had time to play Monopoly!  Highview hosted the "Back to School Blast" after school on Friday and it was a huge success!  Hope your child enjoyed the activities!  Another great week at Highview! 

Hawk Pride!

Hi!  I hope many of you were able to come on Tuesday night to visit Highview! It was nice to meet those of you who could come!  This week we discussed "Following Directions" and played a competitive game of "Simon Says".  We are learning how to access our e-mail and monitor our assignments and classwork through our SchoolView  account.  We also continued our discussion about integrity.  It was another great week!

What a great week!  Our class has been spending time learning about PRIDE. On Monday we discussed being prepared and organized for our classes.  On Tuesday we discussed what "bugs us" and how to demonstrate appropriate behavior in the lunchroom.  On Wednesday we discussed what integrity means and on Thursday we discussed being diligent and dependable.  Today (Friday) we will put forth our best effort to end the week strongly and come back organized and prepared for another great week!  Have a GREAT weekend and I look forward to meeting parents on Tuesday at our Back to School Night!

Hi and Welcome Back!  I am so excited to begin a new year at HIGHVIEW!  GO HAWKS!!!!
